A Couples Retreat
Peak Farm Falls
The Vision
Take a small stretch of hillside behind a home and turn it into a place you never want to leave.
The Canvas
A Hillside With Potential
Behind the house sat a modest stretch of sloped ground—unused, overlooked, and full of possibility. The homeowners wanted more than a patio. They wanted destinations. Places to cook, places to gather, places to sit and listen to water moving over stone.
GoGreen Outdoors saw what this hillside could become: a series of connected outdoor rooms carved into the slope, anchored by a pondless waterfall that would feel like it had always been there.
The Build
Machines and Hands
Building a pondless waterfall into a hillside is heavy work. The excavator moved tons of earth and placed multi-thousand-pound boulders onto graded liner beds—but the final positioning of every stone was done by hand. Each boulder was chosen for its shape, its face, its weight in the composition.
The result is a cascading waterfall that drops over natural ledges into a gravel basin below, recirculating endlessly with zero standing water. All the beauty of a mountain stream, none of the maintenance of a pond.

The Approach
Every Path Leads Somewhere
Flagstone patios connect in a natural sequence through the property. Step off the back of the house and the stone guides you—past the pondless waterfall tumbling through ferns and moss-covered boulders, toward a custom wood-burning pizza oven built into a stone base, and down to a fire pit below where the evening always ends.
Brass path lights line every walkway, casting a warm glow across the stone after dark. Native ferns, ornamental grasses, and ground cover soften the edges between hardscape and hillside. Nothing feels forced. Every transition earns its place.
What started as an unused hillside became a private retreat—where the sound of falling water follows you from patio to patio, where pizza bakes in a wood-fired oven while the fire pit crackles below, and where a couple in Saugerties found exactly the escape they were looking for.
The GoGreen Difference
Built by Craftsmen
Hand-Set Boulders
Every stone selected for character and placed by hand with heavy equipment—engineered to look like nature put it there.
Destination Spaces
Connected flagstone patios create a journey through the property—each stop its own experience, from waterfall to fire pit to outdoor kitchen.
Year-Round Living
A wood-fired pizza oven, a fire pit below, and warm path lighting mean this backyard never closes for the season.

The Details That Matter
"We used to walk past our backyard. Now we live in it. The waterfall runs all day, we cook pizza on weekends, and every evening ends at the fire pit. GoGreen didn't just build us a patio—they gave us a whole new way to use our property."
